Get a Better Look at Marvel Superheroes 2
Earlier today, TT Games and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment revealed the full-length trailer for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 videogame. You can go check it out on their YouTube channel
to see all the action they could cram into nearly two minutes. While the Guardians of the Galaxy seem to take front and center (no doubt because they're currently in theaters) the game looks to draw from a wide variety of Marvel properties. The game is coming out on November 14th for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and the Switch, so I'm sure there will be plenty more to learn about the game between now and then!

Get Some Insight From a Variety of Builders
Hasan Jensen has been busy lately interviewing builders of the 10k Club over on LEGO Ideas! On the other hand, we've been slow in reporting on them, so today we're sharing three interviews for you to check out. Head on over to the Ideas blog to meet James Cox of 1950's Diner
, Damien & Aiden MacRae of Surf Rescue
, and Jacob Sadovich of Ship In A Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan
, all three of which are being considered by LEGO to be turned into official sets. Even though they all achieved the same milestone, they went about it in very different ways, making each one worth the read. Maybe next week we'll be a bit more timely in sharing the latest installment...

Continue the Legend of Bionicle
I think I speak for most of us when I say we were disappointed to hear that Bionicle was ending again. The new universe had a lot of potential and there was a lot we would have liked to see. If you're one of those people then you're in luck, because last night we kicked off three new contests to give you a chance to share your vision! The Legend Continues asks you to Build
, and Write
about something you wish we had seen in the Bionicle reboot, so check them out to see what you need to do. The winner of each section wins a physical copy of the awesome Art of Bionicle book released digitally earlier plus some Bionicle sets. If you're not feeling overly creative (or just want to increase your chances), we also have a raffle
you can enter to support our site!

The Toa Hagah in ABS
Since 2005, Bionicle fans have been making MOCs of the Toa forms of the other members of Iruini and Norik's team. 00dude00 has taken it to the next level though, creating digital models of what they think their masks could has looked like and then having them 3D-printed to use with their builds. You can check out the results in Full Toa Hagah Team With Custom 3D Printed Masks
, where you can see all six of them together. You can also find a link to their Shapeways store in case you're interested in getting your own masks. It's definitely an impressive level of effort to make this happen and I love how the results ended up.
I had a news story reminding everyone about Twitch Tuesday written up hours ago, but apparently the Internet gremlins played a trick on me and decided to not let it get posted. So here's a quick reminder that in less than a half hour, at 7:30 PM Eastern, you should head over to the BZPower Twitch channel
to watch us play some LEGO videogames. You can vote for what you'd like to see us play or talk about the streams in the discussion topic
. After I post this I'm going to get everything ready to go, so see you all soon!

The LEGO Group Meets Its Renewable Energy Goal...Early!
The LEGO Group has, for the past few years, been investing in offshore windfarms, a DKK 6 billion investment in fact. The goal was to offset their energy use with 100% renewable energy by the year 2020. Now that goal has been reached three years early, offsetting all energy used by LEGO facilities including stores, factories, and offices. To celebrate, "the LEGO Group has built the world's largest LEGO brick wind turbine, a Guinness World Records title. Built with 146,000 LEGO bricks," says the press release
, it will be found in LEGOLAND Windsor starting this summer. What an inspiring feat from LEGO.

Luke's Diner Hits Ideas Goal
I have seen exactly one episode of Gilmore Girls over the course of my life, and just that small taste was enough for me to recognize Luke's Diner
by Rainer Zufall, the latest project to reach ten thousand votes of support on LEGO Ideas. Obviously there are a lot of people who are bigger fans of the show than me, and I'm sure they'll love the attention to detail seen in the creation. We've seen a variety of models make it through the review phase, so we'll have to wait and see what comes next for the diner - I wish it the best of luck!

LEGO has been teasing what it's calling the biggest Minecraft set to date for a bit now, and today they're finally ready to show off 21137 The Mountain Cave in its entirety. It certainly seems to live up to the hype - if you're a fan of Minecraft and LEGO and want a set that puts The Village to shame you're in for a treat. Weighing in at close to three thousand parts, it's definitely a sight to behold. To see the reveal video, hi-res images, press release, and our initial thoughts on the set, read on!

Xbox Backwards Compatibility Sale on LEGO Titles
One of the nice features that Microsoft was able to add to the Xbox One was backwards compatibility with a wide selection of Xbox 360 games, with more being added all the time. Starting earlier today, over 200 of those titles are discounted for the Backward Compatibility Super Sale
. For us LEGO fans, that means through May 22nd, you can pick up LEGO Batman, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, or LEGO Indiana Jones for just $4.99 each! As an added bonus, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
is currently free as part of the Games with Gold program. It looks like Twitch Tuesday just got a few more titles to go through!
A Terrific Twitch Tuesday
If you've looked at the calendar today, you might have noticed that it's Tuesday! Of course that means tonight at around 7:30 PM Eastern you'll be able to head on over to the BZPower Twitch channel
to watch us stream some LEGO gaming fun. As usual, we plan to play for around an hour or so, making our way through the game of your choice. You can pick what we play by heading over to the Twitch Tuesday discussion topic
and casting your vote. Hopefully I have better luck than last week when it comes to figuring out puzzles and keeping myself from falling off ledges. See you all there!
Makuta: Sleek and Stealthy Edition
Bionicle fans have always loved building their own versions of characters from the universe, either in different forms or trying the capture the spirit or appearance of an animation or film. Makuta: Shogun of Shadows
by admiraltyphoon is a great example where the builder has made some personal tweaks to the G2 canon to fit his MOC into the story. The build definitely has a bit of Japanese flair, with the battledress, shoulder armor, and of course the weaponry. I like how he accented the mask with some additional pieces to give it an almost samurai-like appearance and also feel that the treads and gold chains on the front is a creative use of the parts. I definitely suggest taking a look at it yourself and then giving your feedback to the admiral to let him know what you thought!

LEGO World of Creativity Tour Announced
It has been a while since LEGO had tour across the country. Of course, I remember Bionicle having a few, and I probably missed more, but they are always a fun experience and exciting to hear about. The latest is the LEGO World of Creativity Tour
, which will feature several building sessions and activities, and host "building zones" such as the city, beach, and outer space. No tour stops have been announced yet, but keep an ear out for when the tour might be coming to a city near you.

Get to Know Some People with Good Ideas
We've fallen a bit behind on updating you with 10k Club interviews from LEGO Ideas, so it's time to catch you up. Over the past couple of weeks Hasan Jensen has talked to Hasan Kabalak, builder of the Volkswagen Golf MK1 GTI
and Kevin Szeto, who designed the Vintage Tram
. While both interviews cover the same topics, it's interesting to note that this isn't Kevin's first rodeo, as his Yellow Submarine project became a set last year. It's cool to see how the perspectives of a first-time and repeat 10k club member both overlap and differ, making both worth a read. Go check them out!

BZPower to Talk Rogue One and Buildable Figures
It's been a while since we last did a livestream discussion to talk about something on BZPower. Next Saturday, May 20th, at 9PM Eastern, however, we're going to change that. You can head over to the BZPower YouTube channel
to watch Black Six, ChocolateFrogs, Bfahome, and Ta-metru_defender share our thoughts on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the buildable figures LEGO has released to compliment the film.
