In a surprise move, the Toa of Air today announced he was going in for Hockey rather than the more traditional sport of Koli (or, as it is being revised, Kolhii). After meeting with representatives from the National Hockey League (NHL), Lewa put on his game face and took a few swipes at the puck in Ko-Koro this afternoon. He announced his free agent status shortly afterward and a starting salary of 15 million widgets per year with the Philadelphia Flyers. "I'm keeping my options open," he said. "Philadelphia black and orange: yuck!"

funny, I always thought Kopaka would be the one to go into Hohkhi, or at least Onua, I mean stick a white Pakari on the dude and you've either got a hockey player or, Voorhiiz, toa of 80's slasher flicks *suddenly gets an idea for a great MOC * now if only I could get the right parts I could work on Groovi, Toa of Boomstick

Ha! what a great review, I was intrested in these sets for their MOC possibilites, and even more so after this review, the hockey deal looks like a cleaver or something in Lewa's hands though. (Toa of Cooking? hm...) Is there any chance we could get a close up of the feet, or should I just wait to see that whenever I order them off S@H?

Lol...a very entertaining review of the new hockey sets Bink! After reading that I realised just how many parts can be cross-used for smaller "Toa-sized" MOC's. Thanks for the tip off, I'll have to get a few of these to satisfy my hunger for new parts!

LOL, oh no Bink I only have one prolem with your story,
I don't know if the Flyers can afford that salary, LOL Poor Hockey and their Money troubles. You are too much though Bink, that was a nice review, think I am going to go down to my TRU Flagship store (42nd St) and pick them up. I have a MOC I was going to fix up with those pieces and seeing Lewa like that confirmed it. I had those sets ages ago! i live in britain and they were out march or something like that. anyway yes they are cool, especialy for mocs that you want to have faces.

I have: Slap Shot Puck Passer Slammer Goalie Two player set. I'm using the Faces(Which there are six different types)for my MoC's, but in the Uk they don't some with little Trophys. -Tc -------------------- |

But nice presentation, of course. Y'know, those hockey masks could probably be kitbashed into Takua "Movie accurate" masks rather easily.
