LEGO's Sustainability Efforts Reach The New York Times
Hot Bionicle NewsFriday, August 31st, 2018 at 11:39pm by Danny, BZPower Reporter

The New York Times is reporting that LEGO doesn't want anyone to notice the sustainability efforts that we've heard about for years. I think they've missed the point - LEGO isn't just pursuing greener approaches for materials in their supply chain, they're openly and heavily promoting those efforts, as we've written about many times here before. The key thing is that LEGO doesn't want the resulting elements to behave any differently when they're made from greener source materials. Nonetheless, if the paper-of-record is covering it, it's news - even though their take does seem a little funny to those of us who follow these things day in and day out. In spite of the headline's silliness, there are some great original photos and bits of reporting in the article.Discuss This Story
