Well that wasn't quite as difficult as I was anticipating. Today I bring you the rest of our BrickFair coverage - and even more great creations abound. You'll have to read on to see everything that was there, but I'll tell you that it was quite the variety.
Sculpture & Microscale
There was a nice variety in the sculpture and microscope section this year, with everything from a box of donuts to the tower of Orthanc. The micropolis, or microscale city, was very impressive, with some of the buildings towering over most other MOCs in the show.
Space
One diorama definitely stood out the most in the space section this year - the giant minifigure hands bursting out of the ground were definitely a sight to see. There were a lot of other great MOCs there too, including some nice SHIPs.
Castle
I think Castle might win the award for most-improved theme versus BrickFair 2011. There were a lot of great fortresses and other buildings on display, including a Hyrule castle and Bag End!
PennLUG
PennLUG had a nice train and town display with a lot of great little details.
WAMALTC
WAMALTC really took to the fire theme, incorporating it in a lot of ways in their layout.
NCLTC
The smallest of the three regional groups with setups, NCLTC made a good showing, with some very nice buildings and landscapes.
Movie, TV, and Books
The only thing you really need to look at here is the Rivendell MOC, because it's amazing. My pictures don't really do it justice. There were a bunch of other cool creations, like a giant Serenity, so I guess you could look at those too.
Mixed
There was a lot of stuff that didn't quite fit into any other category, so here's what's left.
LEGO, SladeChild, and Vendors
Oh yes, can't forget that LEGO had a booth front and center (not nearly as impressive as some of their previous ones). SladeChild Foundation, a charity that BrickFair supports, was selling minifig vignettes to support their cause. And of course there were vendors aplenty selling all sorts of sets, bricks, and custom parts and minifies.
