    LEGO Invests in Sustainable Materials
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 at 7:09am by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

Today LEGO has issued a press release announcing their investment of 1 billion DKK (about 151 million USD) in the research, development, and implementation of new sustainable materials to be used in LEGO elements and packaging. They are establishing the LEGO Sustainable Materials Centre to collect all of their existing efforts under one roof to help them achieve their goal of switching to sustainable materials by 2030. It's great to see LEGO taking such strides to be environmentally friendly and I hope other companies follow in their footsteps.
