North Virginia Maker Faire Early Bird Tickets Available through February 17th

Attention North Virginia (and surrounding area): You have just a few days left to get your Early Bird tickets for NoVa Maker Faire (held Sunday, March 19th 2017 from 11am to 5pm in Reston, VA). Tickets are available $9 per adult ($1 per child) through February 17th, with prices set to go up to $13 per adult ($2 per child) after that.

Billed as "the Greatest Show and Tell on Earth", Maker Faires are events where you can learn about making all sorts of things. The full list of exhibits at NoVa Maker Faire runs the gamut from robotics to blacksmithing. Registered "Makers" host various booths that show things we've made and/or show how you can make something. Most booths are hands-on or educationally focused, making these fun events for the whole family.

Our own BioniLUG will have a booth at NoVa Maker Faire including MOCs, interactive displays, and a LEGO play area, and we're also looking forward to seeing another LEGO-based display - 12-year old Alec Agayan will be displaying his EV3-based 3D printer.

Not near northern Virginia? Use the official Maker Faire map to find a Maker Faire event near you. Many of them include LEGO displays already, and most of the ones that don't could afford a display of your creations.Discuss This Story
