Toy Fair 2017: ZoZbot

Continuing our coverage of LEGO-compatible toys at this year's Toy Fair, ZoZbot brings us a robotic gaming platform that won awards earlier this year at CES. The ZoZbot features three omni wheels and can be quickly controlled out-of-the-box using smartphone apps. While this seems like an exciting toy in it's own right, the LEGO aspect is limited to a pair of discs (one with System studs, one with DUPLO studs) that can be used in the customizable top section - they're ideal for driving a minifig around, but may be difficult to use for much more (although we'd love to see what people come up with). Some of the other add-ons mentioned on their website (including a camera, a cannon, and a claw) sound exciting to play with as well.
You can find out more about ZoZbot at their website or see our photos below of their booth at Toy Fair (including close-ups of the LEGO-compatible discs). ZoZbot is currently available for preorder for $199.
