The LEGO Group Meets Its Renewable Energy Goal...Early!
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Monday, May 22nd, 2017 at 2:49pm by Benjamin, BZPower Reporter

The LEGO Group has, for the past few years, been investing in offshore windfarms, a DKK 6 billion investment in fact. The goal was to offset their energy use with 100% renewable energy by the year 2020. Now that goal has been reached three years early, offsetting all energy used by LEGO facilities including stores, factories, and offices. To celebrate, "the LEGO Group has built the world's largest LEGO brick wind turbine, a Guinness World Records title. Built with 146,000 LEGO bricks," says the press release, it will be found in LEGOLAND Windsor starting this summer. What an inspiring feat from LEGO.
