    Binkmeister
    Site Administrator & Head Programmer
    Staff member since October 2001

Many readers know Kelly as Binkmeister from the BZPower forums. He joined the BZ membership in October 2001, and in February became its second Assistant Administrator. While working hard at BZ, Kelly also joined the staff of Kanohi-Power.com and quickly assumed a leadership role.

Kelly currently serves as the Editor-in-chief of BZPower's news service (formerly known as Kanohi-Power). Kelly also keeps the board software up to date, and works hard to make the site more interesting for everyone, through well-known projects like the Set Database and the infamous April Fools events.

    Black Six
    Site Administrator & News Manager
    Staff member since August 2001

Andrew finally realized that his bio was horribly out of date and that it needed to be updated.

You may know him as Black Six, or Bossman, if you're a part of the staff. As an Administrator, he runs the day-to-day operations of BZPower and manages the goings-on of the site. He started way back in August of 2001 as a Moderator and slowly worked his way through the ranks before achieving his current position on the top of the proverbial dog pile. It's been a long and interesting journey, and he wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

When he's not running BZPower, he works as a Computer Engineer for the US Government. When work and BZP don't take all of his time, he listens to a lot of music, occasionally plays videogames, and possibly watches too much TV. He tries to get out every now and then to hang out with his friends from home, college, and, of course, BZPower too - because they're all supremely cool people.

    Jon
    Dimensioneer
    Dimensioneer
Site Administrator, Staff Writer, and Official Product Reviewer
    Staff member since Day 1

Also known as Dimensioneer, Jon created the first successful Bionicle community on the Internet back on July 20, 2001. That community was BionicleZone, and eventually it grew to be the largest LEGO-related message board on the Internet.

Jon initially served as the Forum Master of BZPower.com, meaning he was in charge of the inner workings of the forum, from its design to the wonderful ranks everyone enjoys, and played a large role in setting policy and enforcing it. However, he has since settled into a more behind the scenes role. Jon now serves as the manager of BZPower's Premier Membership program, Staff Writer for the news section, and has developed into BZPower's official product review person through his series of great reviews he has completed on many different Bionicle products.

Michael C. (Kaiapu) currently serves the BZPower community as a News Reporter, traveling with friend and former BZP administrator Rich to write up such adventures as ToyFair. A longtime moderator and bearer of the title, "Giver of the Little Gift", he will be sticking to the news forum for the time being. As a teenager he is expanding beyond the realms of his favorite online haunt, becoming a college student, music performer, and somewhat of an artist. Somehow amid the tangle of his life he was blessed with his girlfriend Rachel, on whose thought he ends this nonsense.

Depending on what side of the story you listen to, Tufi Piyufi is either a human, puffin or some kinda twisted puffin-human. Tufi came to the site in late 2002 just to say some things about some other things, most likely Bionicle-related. However, she wound up saying some things about some sets instead, and she was never the same after that. She got a few months of relative normalcy... then was pulled forever from her sane little puffin-world to join the staff.

She was made an ST amidst somewhat traumatic events. She was further pranked in increasingly strange ways as an ST. She was scared half to death just prior to becoming a moderator. She got pranked the very night she became a moderator. And so on. If she hasn't sought help yet, she really should.

But if you must know, she's not going to go on a crazed screamy rampage anytime soon.

Than the MOA, Than: Matoran of Anger, Than, or as he is known to people outside of BZP, Nate. Nate has been on BZP for nearly a decade now, registering his account way back in December of 2002. That length of time, coupled with a fairly quick transition from new member spam crazy to staff in 2004 also makes him one of the longest active staff members. Starting out as a lowly Support Team member (they didnt even have any moderation powers or receive reports) he was a part of the transition of the Support Team to Forum Assistants. In 2006 Nate made the transition to the ranks of the Forum Leaders, picking up multiple forums to be responsible for. Following a hiatus from late 2007 into late 2008, Nate would once again be promoted to his current role of Global Moderator in 2009. He also serves as the head of the COT RPG Judge program and has final say in RPG approvals there as well as staffing decisions, and retains the title of Q&A Guru, despite Windrider doing most of the heavy lifting there these days.

Outside of BZP, Nate is a recent college grad starting off in a new full time position. He graduated with a BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in May of 2012 and started a app dev position with a technology consulting firm in Minneapolis, MN. His current position requires him to live and breathe the Microsoft stack (Visual Studio, C#, .Net, SQL Server, so on and so on) but he got his start in the Java world and everything that comes with that (Eclipse, J2EE, Tomcat servers, Hibernate, JSPs, Spring framework tools and so on) and is also familiar with C/C++ as well as some light Android development. In his free time he likes to play games on his Xbox 360, hang out with friends, watch tv shows or movies, go for walks, travel, snowboard, and more.

    Staff member since May 2005

John, known as Watashi Wa on the forums, joined BZPower on May 29, 2003. After exactly two years of posting and making a name for himself, Watashi was asked to join the ranks of the staff as a Support Team Member. In November of 2008, John was approached by the administration and asked if he would like a position as a Forum Leader after serving as a Forum Assistant for over three and a half years. He gladly accepted the position and now leads the General Discussion forum as well as the BZP Marketplace. In March of 2011, John joined the ranks of the Global Moderators. Whenever he is online, he can most likely be found patrolling his home forum, General Discussion, or browsing through the Blogs. Or nuking your sig.

John attends Auburn University at Montgomery, Alabama, where he is majoring in Information Systems, with a focus on Systems Development. One day, he hopes to make a career out of developing video games, either independently or with a studio. Whenever he is not in class, working, or with his friends, he is usually playing his Xbox 360 (with a current Gamerscore of 82,000+.) while chatting with his good friend Than the Moa over Xbox Live. He enjoys watching action, thriller, or sci-fi movies, reading mystery, sci-fi, or fantasy novels and listening to music, preferably metalcore, hardcore, post-hardcore, experimental, and sometimes acoustic rock. His friends and family take up a large amount of his time because they are so very important to him. For more information on his favorites, feel free to visit his profile.

    Staff member since June 2004

bonesiii was for a while best known for being a top champion in the Lego.com Drome Racing Challenge. He has been following Bionicle since the beginning with MNOLG and the comics, and discovered BZP in early 2003. Since then he has become an active member of the Storyline and Theories Forum, known for his long and thorough posts, and his topic "Wacky Physics," which contains in-depth explanations of how the wackiest things in Bionicle can be explained with cool science fiction style ideas (currently a longer "Wacky Physics 2" is in the works). An aspiring writer, bonesiii and his brother Ojhilom have begun a Bionicle fanfic Series, The Bionicle Paracosmos, which includes Epics, Short Stories, Artwork, and even a half-completed computer RPG that introduces revolutionary new code techniques, such as in-the-map battle system.

In June of 2004, he accepted the position of Moderator, and currently moderates in his favorite Forum, Storyline and Theories, as well as Movies and Books. Later he accepted the positions of News Reporter and Reference Master in addition, and has helped launch several of BZP's new Reference projects, such as the Bionicle Timeline.

bonesiii was still on the Top Twenty in the Drome before the game was reset with the new updates, but now he has officially retired from the Drome. He still roots for his team, the High Octane Team, though! Now he devotes most of his free non-staff related time to the Bionicle Paracosmos, and plans to continue this alternate Bionicle universe series for quite some time.

Rayg is one of the odder staff members. He tends to be emotional and incoherant, cursing your mother one second, and then asking you to be his friend the next. One can only wonder if it's all a clever ruse used to hide inner genious, but most people tend to doubt it. He will joke around with you, so be sure to take everything he says with a grain of salt.

He tends to draw things, a lot. He is a Freshman at the University of Central Oklahoma.

As a reward to your kind nature and understanding, he will offer you 17% of the total sum including 20% of interest earned. It is absolutely crucial that you keep this business deal confidential! Please send him your bank account number as well as a color photocopy of a Nigerian passport so he is certain you are a real resident. He waits to hear from you. Arpy
    Arpy
    Premier Forum Assistants
    Staff member since October 2009

You are Arpy, more often known in real life as Ean (the phonetically correct spelling of how Ian is usually pronounced), and you have decided to do your staff bio in the oft-neglected second person just to be different and also to annoy the sort of people who get annoyed by second-person points-of-view. You are currently entertaining a thought that by writing your bio in this fashion you will convert all who read it to your exact mode of thought, which, as you type, you are now realizing is a fairly unrealistic goal. It's probably for the best, anyway, since you're not sure you'd want everyone to be just like you anyway. Variety keeps things interesting, though there's probably enough of that in your own head that it might not be such a bad idea after all. Beware!

You have been a fan of Bionicle since its release and a member of BZPower for only slightly less time. You enjoy BZP because, in the immortal words of Congressman Wexler, as reported by Stephen Colbert, it's a fun thing to do, and you hope to keep it that way. You have built quite a few MOCs in your day and usually specialize in innovative and offbeat creations. You really do enjoy pia coladas and getting caught in the rain, particularly the smell of petrichor, which is fortunate for you since you live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. It's less fortunate about the pineapples, though, since they don't grow here. Alas!

In addition to Lego and most things related to it, you also read voraciously, write sporadically, act in plays whenever you can get a chance, and are interested in many things besides, the levels of interest in which vary with time. For instance, right now you are hugely into Terry Pratchett, Firefly, Foreigner, and your NaNoWriMo novel, but your interest in those will likely wane as you get through them and discover new things, as has happened before with such items as Nextwave, Douglas Adams, linguistics, Weird Al (with whom you share your birthday), X-Pods, Oscar Wilde, Star Trek, and any of numerous excellent movies and books, all of which you have enjoyed but only a couple of which you have watched or read recently because you are entirely too busy with college after having been homeschooled for the majority of your life, both of which are or were awesome. It occurs to you that run-on sentences are another of your interests, along with spending time with family and friends, helping at church, politely loathing Twilight, and superheroes. Marvel owns DC forever, and you accept this as an immutable truth. Truthiness!

You eventually realize that your interests are too many in number to be reasonably listed and your personal essence too complex to define in mere words, though your grandmother would say you smell like a teenage boy, or at any rate your room does, and leave it at that. You consequently decide to blame Monty Python for everything, especially the mse, all for no adequately explored reason. The lateness of the hour has only a bit to do with it. You now decide to go drink more Mountain Dew and do your Spanish homework. Huzzah!

In the winter, you may find Eeko hitting the slopes on his fresh-to-death snowboard. In all other seasons, he's probably on his laptop or drums. Maybe on his Hammered Dulcimer if he's feeling particularly Celtic that day.
Ian is planning to major in Physics, and hopefully pursue a PhD in Optics.
Eeko also enjoys singing in his Baritone voice, and often tours with a choir in the summer months.

That's about all there is to this Eeko guy, you should send him a PM sometime. It gets lonely.

Emzee (Emzed is fine too, provided you're a Canadian) is a Forum Assistant watching silently but intently over the RPG, Media, and pretty-much-dead Fan Created Games forums. He is not only one of the leaders of the Official BZPower Roleplaying Game, but he is also the proud founder of Cyan Productions, inspired by discovering BIONICLE fan-games in summer 2002. His work and interest in game development has now grown to the point that he now has a life goal of running a successful game studio one day.

Emzee currently resides in Texas, where he works as a Software Engineer. He is shamefully behind on the video game scene, but he does enjoy a wide array of music genres, his favorite being motion picture soundtracks, and yes, even video game soundtracks. Finally, Emzee also can compose his own (simple) tracks, though he also doesn't get to do a lot of this anymore.

Oh, there is so much I could write.

However, I cannot, for fear of you mind exploding from the sheer magnitude of my evil genius. Therefore, I shall sum up.

Josh, better known as his alter ego Friar Tuck, is the site’s resident evil super genius… though few will care to admit it. Having joined back in 2003 he found his niche in the RPG Forum and remained a loyal player for many years, working his way up the ranks until 2009 when he received his BZP Staff and Bzprpg Host positions. As part of his evil plan he also plays a heavy role in the Library forums, hoping to one day overthrow the government and instate his own rule.

He supplements his talents with a Biochemistry degree from a local college, planning his world domination from Wisconsin, the cheese capital of the world.

    GSR
    GSR
    Premier Forum Assistants
    Staff member since August 2012

A badger born in the icy lands of Wisconsin, GSR first came to BZP in early 2003 a few months after stumbling upon an Onua figure buried in the dirt where he planned his next home. Enamored with the setting and storyline of Bionicle, he was eager to contribute to BZP. Unfortunately, a young internet newb's definition of 'contribute' is well different from everyone else's, and that period is best forgotten by all. In early 2004, he left in pursuit of new interests and ground-nesting birds.

Seven years later, he returned to his old home, a chance conversation having resparked an interest in the mysterious islands and biomechanical elemental beings he once so loved. He had just enough time to catch up on the story and wonder what in the world happened to the whole 'mysterious island' thing before BZP entered a Great Downtime. Fortunately, he was able to take shelter in his burrow, emerging in the fall to clamber over the now-fallow grounds of the grand forum. He soon found this new environment was easier to get involved in, and over the next few months established a small sett in a corner of the Library. In August 2012, he was hired as a Forum Mentor in recognition of his helpful attitude, positive contributions, and ability to forage for pocket gophers and bees.

Rumors persist that "badger" is in fact a colloquialism for a person from Wisconsin, and that GSR in reality spends his days attending university or working in the tech industry, and his free time reading, writing, playing cards, biking, gaming, and just generally hanging out with friends. These rumors are unsubstantiated and should be paid no heed.

    Forum Assistants
    Staff member since April 2010

Nuju Metru, known by friends as Aaron, known by enemies as Eyeball Eater, joined BZPower in 2008. Since that time, he has achieved much infamy and amassed dark forces to his will, and somehow become (doubtless against everyone's better judgement) a staff member. But Eyeball Eater's ravenous appetite for power did not stop there; he was also handed the keys to the kingdom of the "BZPRPG," the site's official text-based roleplaying game. Eyeball Eater has, since the start of his rule, run the BZPRPG with an iron pinkie, following in the great footsteps of its former master, Mr. Meteor Masher (who is known by friends as Friar Tuck).

When not overseeing the fictional realm that is his domain, Eyeball Eater may be found singing and dancing - at the same time - on a raised platform in front of a lot of seated people. Eyeball Eater finds a bizarre thrill in such strange escapades. He also enjoys stacking little plastic blocks, brightly colored ones with squat cylinders on top, in various ways. Eyeball Eater amuses himself, as well, in reading and writing about imaginary things, in eating, and in couch potatoing.

So next time you see Eyeball Eater, don't just cover those vulnerable seeing apparatuses in your head until he passes. Say hello to him! He is, at heart, a nice guy; besides, he might not even be hungry that day.

     Sumiki
    Sumiki

    Staff member since February 2012

Sumiki is the guy that always ends up in the middle of insane happenings. In the above picture, taken at BrickFair VA 2012, his head is garnished with an impressive pile of hats, and he is surrounded by other BZPers who might just be as insane as he is.

Sumiki joined BZP in 2006 and was a complete noob. Later in the year, he got lifetime Premiership and began his long campaign of terrorizing the blogs. He matured (somewhat) over the course of the next two years, culminating in his achievement of OBZPC status in 2009. After about a year in copper, he started becoming known as "the guy who's never promoted." Various members tried to start movements to draft him into the ranks of the staff, thought none gained significant traction - much to the relief of both BZP and the Internet as a whole.

But this peaceful existence was untenable. One fateful day he received a terrifying PM from a certain Administrator asking him to serve the community as a staff member, and was subsequently made a Forum Mentor. He patrolled the forums, seeking out spam, which he enjoys with a side of Lobster Thermidor aux crevettes with a Mornay sauce, served in a Provenale manner with shallots and aubergines, garnished with truffle pt, brandy and a fried egg on top. After about six months of doing this, he was apparently so good at it that Black Six decided to make him a Forum Assistant, which sent chills running up the spines of the members.

Outside of BZP, Sumiki enjoys a wide variety of creative endeavors, from musical composition to MOCing to writing and nearly everything in between - save for drawing, which he can't do to save his life. He enjoys learning new things and likes games which have a mental aspect, such as baseball, fencing (pe), and chess. In addition to these, he likes taking long road trips - after a 28-day, 25-state, 8355.4-mile excursion in 2012, he's busy with the planning of an even longer 2013 sequel.

he also dreams of farm animals

Who am I? I'm Jean Valjean!

...Or maybe not. But Les Miserables is definitely an awesome play. But you're not here to listen to me ramble on about some amazing musical are you? I thought not.

The person you are looking at [or, again, maybe not, as I don't really have a recent picture of me] is me. Most people call me Toa Velox or Velox, but there are a few who call me some other nicknames such as TV, Vel, Velly, V, or the incredibly ridiculous one that doesn't really make sense: Felix [talk to Emperor Whenua about it]. But none of those are my name are they? No. Correct again.

Outside of the BZUniverse I'm known as Andrew, among other nicknames.

But I'm sure you're all tired of me rambling on about my name so enough of that. Let's have a little history lesson, shall we?

Nearly three years ago a newbie by the name of The Lost Toa joined the BZPower forums on September 20th, 2007 so that he could reply to a comedy by the name of Ask Hakann by ~YourWorstNightmare~. Thus began his writing career as he started to write comedies of his own.

Roughly four months later, he purchased Premier Membership for the first time, giving him a shiny rank image and a web log, more commonly known as a blog Midnight Voltage.

Another four months go by and this still-newbish-member sends in an exclusive news report, earning him a slightly more filled up bar under his name and stats.

Unfortunately that only lasts another four months [funny how everything happens in four-month intervals] because someone offends him with a political comment which he unfortunately replied to, causing him to loose that proto point.

But never fear, another four months goes by and his one-year PMship runs out. Quickly buying another year, he not only gets his old point back, but gains another as well. Good for him. This also roughly marks the point when he starts to grow out of his old newbish self.

Then, not four months, but three months later he receives a fifth proto point for helping out in the Library [specifically, accepting Hahli Husky's request for him to start the Comedies Critics Club (slightly odd, considering he now dislikes the comedies forum for it's noobishness and prefers the other sections of the library], also making him an Outsanding BZPower Member.

Fast-forward almost a year and this not-so-much-newbish-any-more member gets a PM from the big man himself with an offer to become a Forum Mentor [also getting 10,000 posts somewhere around this time]. After getting over the initial shock and awe, he accepts, turning his name into a very nice shade of blue, as well as giving him some special powers.

Yes, that not-so-much-a-newb-any-more member is me. Now I browse throughout the forum searching for members to throw to the torturers.

Er, I mean, searching for things that require my attention, which include having to make posts invisible, PM people, and post in topics. Most importantly however, I try to assist new members who may need help.

I enjoy writing [and many say that I am quite good, though I definitely do not consider myself anywhere near as good as my partner-in-crime (er, Forum Mentoring) Nuju Metru, or any other of the renowned BZP writers such as ToM, Lady K, Takuta-Nui, bonesiii, et cetera]. My works can be found in my library, The Shadowy Verge.

I also enjoy reading, my favorite books being the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer, Agatha Christie's Poirot mystery series, the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and others.

And I also enjoy crime TV-shows such as NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Criminal Minds [and older shows such as Columbo, The Rockford Files, and the PBS Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett]. In fact I am currently working on a murder mystery novel myself, partially inspired by those as well as Agatha Christie's Poirot.

I also enjoy listening to music [Greenday, Switchfoot, The Fray, etc.] and watching movies [The Dark Knight, Shooter, Saving Private Ryan, The Hurt Locker, Green Zone, LotR, and more].

...And I think that's enough about me for now. Feel free to contact me by PM, AIM [bzvelox], or email [Toa_Velox@BZPower.com] for any reason.

     Zeddy

    Staff member since November 2008

I began 'life' on BZPower, on 11th September 2006. Initially just visiting the site for it's news, I only started becoming really active in like, May of 2007. Initially appearing as the typical newb, I (who was then called '*z*') posted a few times in May, and then went into hibernation for another few months and then finally returned in October of the same year, slowly increasing my activity and gradually transforming into my current state.

In November 2007, I changed my name to Toa Z. My newbness slowly dissipated, and I turned into a slightly more mature member. Setting about to uncover the hidden secrets of the site, I ran across another 'being' [alias 'Adventurer'] and we subsequently became friends. Shorty afterward, I earned proto boosts from Black Six, Kex, Omicron, Than: Matoran of Anger and finally in November from Toaraga, completing my transformation into the smexy color orange. However, during this period, I yielded to the influence of the awesome Joker, and have never been the same since. I later went through an identity crisis of sorts, changing my name multiple times: first from what I am now known as, 'Zeddy', to 'Zed Zedd and Zeddy', and then to 'Hush' (during the awesome Batman staff theme week), and then finally, back to 'Zeddy', when I was asked to join the ranks of the BZPower staff, going from orange to green (which was way cooler =P) to the new light-ish blue. I was thusly christened (and am still considered) the 'Forum Assistant Newb' and subjected to many psychological horrors.

Outside of BZPower... well, here's a brief description: in real life, I'm a pretty normal human being. I attend the 10th grade and am also a 1st Dan Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, so it's best not to mess with me... in real life, that is. On the Internet, there's nothing much I can do.

When you mix equal parts 'sexy' and 'ultrasexy,' you get this guy.

Pat (Known as "DeeVee" around the forums and "Darth Vader" on BrickFair 2008 badges) is a beautiful individual. He is also a curmudgeonly old resident of the BBC who probably invented whatever cool building technique you're ogling right now on someone else's MOC. He has won way too many BBC Contests to count and has nabbed the "Best Bionicle" award at every BrickFair to date. When The Deevs says he is better than you, it's not arrogance - it's just truth!

But there is so much more to Pat than just MOCing. He has been known to wear a top hat; besides that, he has quite lovely photography skills, the fruits of which are often displayed in his blog. He is gifted in the art of bribery, managing to secure a staff position here in exchange for a Fikou spider. But most of all, he is a staunch advocate of love, endeavoring to share that with those around him. Love wins.

He should also get on IM more often and talk to people who love him. <3

    MADDISON

    >Examine bio.

Your name is MADDISON. As it was not previously mentioned, you are a BLOG ASSISTANT. You almost didn't get this job, because you initially thought the message from Andrew was FAKE and a SCAM. You have a number of INTERESTS. You really like ATHLETICS. Specifically, you can POLE VAULT REALLY HIGH and RUN REALLY FAST. You are gifted in the ARTS and specifically excel in PHOTOGRAPHY. You like all sorts of MUSIC and don't care WHO KNOWS. You are an AGENT OF AWKWARD INTERNET HUMOR which you talentedly use in the wrong situations. Several times you have been called FANTASTICALLY AWESOME and in short, THE PERFECT WOMAN by a NOT-SO-SECRET ADMIRER, who you just happen to ADMIRE IN RETURN. You are also a HYSTERICAL NORTHWEST DAME who lives in the LAND OF TREES AND PORTS, where you sometimes like to CONSUME SPIRITED DRINKS because you like to use your ADULTY ABILITIES.

    What will you do?

    >Maddison: Think really hard about boredom and go retrieve arms from blog.

some weird guy who does things with blogs

TMD, or Josh as he's more commonly known, is one of those weird guys who you begin to think are making up their life history. See, he was born in Singapore but moved to live onboard a ship, the Logos II, when he was 10. He lived onboard for four years sailing to around 80 ports in over 40 countries (he tends to lose count, which is something you think wouldn't happen). After that he moved to the US and lived in South Carolina for four years. After graduating high school he went back to Singapore to serve two years in the military. There's another story in there about having heart disease and then not, but that's too long for a quick staff bio. After that he moved back to the US where he currently lives in South Carolina.

    For now, anyway.

Josh joined BZP when he was in Peru in the Christmas of 2003. These days you'll probably find him in the Lego discussion forums or the blogs (where his, y'know, staff responsibilities are).

His hobbies include writing stories and essays, making videos, watching movies, playing video games, reading, Lego, long walks on the beach (ladies), and getting up to odd shenanigans with his friends.

He also seems to think that having a metal bar put in his chest to save his life somehow makes him Iron Man.

Upon joining BZPower in February of 2007, Takuma Nuva spent most of his time playing around with the Offline MNOLG 2 and the MNOLG-style character creation kit. Shortly thereafter, he decided to make an entire comic series using the MNOLG kit. It was through this that the well-known and likeable character "Steak Boy" was given life. After making a name for himself in comics, Takuma Nuva started splitting his time between Artwork III and Comedies. His most popular comedic works were the "Steak Boy Buys A _____" series and the episodic comedy-epic known as "Toast Busters".

Takuma spent the majority of his next couple years on BZPower in these two forums and became a lifetime premier during the July of 2008. As "real life" took over, Takuma Nuva slowly dropped out of the forums and was active almost exclusively in just the blogs and NM Q&A.

On March 4 of 2011, Takuma Nuva joined the staff as a Blog Assistant and has been loving his job ever since. He hopes to one day regain his place among the comedy and/or comic-making elite when time allows.

In the real world, Takuma Nuva is known as [subject name here] and dreams of one day becoming a radio announcer/DJ or possibly even a voice actor (though far less likely). He was homeschooled K-12, could read when he was 4, and, much to his dismay, is viewed as rather intelligent which causes people to constantly ask him for answers instead of learning the answer themselves.

I also enjoy sudden changes from third- to first-person.

Valenti is a guy from the Netherlands who has been a member since 2003. He has made his home in COT, but he can be found in the Blogs frequently. He's online almost every day, but what he exactly does, remains a mystery.

He stayed in the shadows for a longer period of time, after which he started to make a name for himself, mainly by creating edits. It proved hard for others to keep track, because Valenti changed his name many times. (Most notable ones being Miraeyi Angae, Scorpius, Scorpio Paradox and Mad Dog Turahk.)

In October 2005, Val reached POBZPC status. He continued to make edits while improving his skills and he started a shop with one of his friends. (The shop got demolished after a few months.) It didn't really stop him, because in the last month of 2007, Valenti became a staff member in the Blogs section of BZPower.

Valenti is quite fond of music, listening to his favourite songs almost all day long. He also likes to play games. Riding around on his mountain bike is also one of his favourite things to do.

Who knows what the future holds for this guy...

ChocolateFrogs joined BZPower in April of 2003, after stumbling upon it earlier in January. He started visiting daily when early photos of the Rahkshi were released exclusively to BZPower. Simply enjoying browsing the forums and posting where necessary, he quickly became a part of the community.

Today, ChocolateFrogs is an active blogger and tries to MOC in his free time, quite possibly then taking photos of them. He was offered the position of becoming a News Reporter in July 2008 and immediately accepted the offer, for this was his dream job. It still is in real life, as he is a Journalism student at Christopher Newport University, balancing studies with Lego.

Other interests include various Lego themes and MOCing in both Bionicle/Technic and the Lego System. He enjoys sci-fi and geekery of all flavors, being a loyal Browncoat (Firefly) and Whovian (Doctor Who) when it comes to TV, and enjoys Harry Potter, Hitchhiker's Guide, and whatever great sci-fi and fantasy books he can get his into hands.

He visited BrickFest 2004 and attended in 2006. He visited BrickFair 2008 and attended in 2009 and 2010, and is looking forward to 2011's convention. He has met over 50 BZPower members in person, talked with Greg Farshtey over the phone, and frequently visits his local LEGO Stores.

Okay, so who is this dude?

Contrary to what people might expect from an online account, this is not a dude, but two dudes. Two brothers of ages 19 and 18, to be precise, who shall henceforth be referred to as subjects T and G respectively (to people who know them in real life, L and A). Half German and half Spanish, they live in Berlin (capital of Germany) where T studies physics and G studies mathematics in their third semester (beginning their fourth in April 2014) in Freie Universitt Berlin.

You could say Gatanui originated when the two brothers decided to create a common account to play the famous and timeless Mata Nui Online Game in 2001, but it wasn\'t until July 2005 that they joined BZPower and Gatanui was born. Gatanui was promoted to the position of Forum Mentor in July 2008 as one of the first four, a position he held from day one of the team until he was transfered to the news team exactly five years and three months later in October 2013. Things Gatanui is known for in the community include the hightest number of news reports listing him as source totaling in 187. Outside the forums, probably the BIONICLE Online Games Archive (BOGA) which he closed down in October 2012 due to lack of time. Apart from that, Gatanui feels nobody really cares about him on the forums anymore but he still comes to the site regularly despite his dramatically decreased activity, which is mainly due to being busy with university. However, Gatanui knows he owes quite some knowledge and good times to this site which is why he stays loyal to it. You\'ll mainly find only G around the forums these days but don\'t let that fool you, Gatanui is still G and T together and can never be only G or only T and there may be some places where you will find Gatanui and it\'s actually mostly only T pulling the strings. In a way, that serves as some kind of bond between them.

If you should ever feel the urge to PM Gatanui for whatever strange reasons, his interests include LEGO, BIONICLE (obviously) but also Hero Factory and apart from LEGO topics, computers, science and any kind of philosophical or political discussion (pssh- political discussion is not allowed on BZPower!).

    Your name is now KAKARU.

You are a PREMIER REPORTER who speaks with an UNCANNY ACCENT derived from the many different locations your friends hail from. You suffer from CHRONIC MIGRAINES and complain often on your BLOG. Although you have a penchant for finishing PROJECTS as close to the deadline as possible they usually turn out great and nobody seems to notice how much you rushed them.

You like BUTTERFLIES for some reason.

When you're not on the COMPUTER you're in the LEGO ROOM or reading a book by one of your favorite authors, like LOVECRAFT or ASIMOV. You enjoy discussing the socio-economic politics of these stories but YOUR FAVORITE FANSITE doesn't allow that. Your interests in practically everything verge on the APOCALYPTIC and DYSTOPIC. Your Trollhandle is greaterThief and you type with perfect grammar and syntax, though sometimes you don;t hit the apostrophe key just right.

    What will you do?

Xccj is a reporter. He reports stuff that is report-worthy. His name is not an acronym; it doesn't stand for anything. Somehow this makes it cool.

There have been reports that Xccj has a life, but they're vague at best. He has been known to enjoy hiking, writing, and complaining about schoolwork. His favorite color is green. He also procrastinates. He'll add more details later.
