Double 2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/13/11 & 12/14/11)

I NEED TO STOP DOING DOUBLES     Oh no, now we have a grumpy policeman. This guy isn't very interesting, honestly. We already got one policeman, and this one doesn't have any back prints. D: The spare parts are certainly welcome though.     The police sheriff returns to award our hero of the day...     All hail the new deputy sheriff, the FLAMING FISH OF JUSTICE.     Today's set is a table with detective tools. It's very cool, although there's really not much room in the station for all t

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/12/11)

AT LAST     The police station has its last wall! I really like the full model. It's adorable. :3     Mr. Cop and Mr. Fisher take a coffee break after a long day of ridiculousness and crime-fighting. Mr. Robber can't escape now, right?   Riiiiiiight?

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/11/11)

Durrr I'm running out of space on Flickr. :<     And now we have a third wall. This appears to be the doorway. Talk about an open floor plan, huh?     Mr. Cop returns to the police station with no burglar caught.   Wait, what's that noise...     "...I give up."

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/10/11)

woop woop     Today's set is accessories for the fisherman: a campfire, a fish (DARK SILVER YEAH) and a fishing whip pole. Very fun stuff. c:   (Also spare fire piece woohoo)     YOU CAN RUN MR. ROBBER, BUT YOU WILL NEVER EVADE THE FLAMING FISH OF JUSTICE.

Double 2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/8/11 & 12/9/11)

No I am not forgetting about this     Today's Yesterday's set is a table for the police station. Not much to it, but I'm glad to get some furnishing for the building.   I can't make anything funny out of a table, so I shall upend it in frustration.     RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻     Today's set is an Ice Fisher. This is possibly my favorite part yet. The new parka torso and hood are wonderful, and they're even in an uncommon green color (The same color as Rex, I believe).     And these ar

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/7/11)

Why am I so busy. ._.     This one's simple, but essential. It's a couple presents to go under yesterday's tree. I really love these gift box designs. They look great and are a good size too. The skateboard and helmet aren't very interesting, but are welcome additions.     Mr. Cop has lost the trail of the hoity-toity stereotypical robbing snowball monster. He can catch him on the skateboard, but it needs a little something...     WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Deal With Bs01

So BS01 has just moved servers. We had been planning this for a while, but due to errors on our part, the move was more hasty and risky than we had hoped. We're currently in the process of restoring pages, and have been getting a lot of questions about the site's status, so I hope to answer a few important questions here. All BS01 main pages have been saved; however, some may not be up to date. We saved as many pages as we could before the server crashed for good. This did not cover all pages

The Best Idea

So I know I'm openly opposed to the Cuusoo Bionicle petition and the whole "Bring Back Bionicle" thing in general, but I just came across this suggestion:     Make   This   HAPPEN.   (Yes he spelled Faust wrong and yes The Hub is Hasbro-owned, but beyond that this is awesome.)

Double 2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/5/11 & 12/6/11)

I had no time to blog yesterday, so here's pictures of the last two advent calendar sets:     On the left is yesterday's set: another wall to the police station. I was surprised to find that today's set was a tree and not a third wall, but I guess those will come later. Variety is always appreciated.     No two-walled prison can hold Mr. Robber! It can't hold anything, for that matter!     Meanwhile, Mr. Cop is having a bit of trouble getting the star on top of the tree.     Suddenly a frien

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/4/11)

I really shouldn't be blogging with all the stuff I need to get done, but OH WELL.     It's a cell wall. This seems to be a part of the Police Station model, with other parts coming on later days. (Note those binoculars are not included, I added those).   Mr. Cop won't let Mr. Robber get away! He has a plan to stop him...     WHAM   It looks like felony...     Doesn't fly in this City.   http://www.swfcabin.com/swf-files/1267927742.swf

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/3/11)

The hoity-toity Frenchman stereotype robber is wreaking holiday havoc! WHO WILL STOP HIM!?     It's a holly jolly policeman! There's nothing too exciting about this set; it's a pretty standard policeman figure. I was surprised to see that he had a print on his back, though. I guess all the new torsos have that? Also spare handcuffs are always nice.     Mr. Cop chases after Mr. Robber, but Mr. Robber has a surprise up his sleeve...     ...and makes a daring getaway! You may have gotten awa

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/2/11)

(Pardon the delay. I'm lazy today)   It's the second day of December, so here's the second set in the advent calendar. That's pretty self-explanatory, isn't it?     It's a snowball catapult! I really love this idea. Not only is it creative, but fun to play with too.   So now our robber hoity-toity Frenchman stereotype has more snowballs and improved range. Who can stop him now!?         BONUS SNOWBALL MONSTER       RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARDSFDFSDF

2011 Lego City Advent Callendar Review (12/1/11)

Aw man, I nearly forgot I had this year's city advent calendar o_o   Well, since I do, and should still have my blog for the rest of the month (thanks bloggies :3), I figure I'd do another daily review like last year.     The box is pretty similar to previous years. There's a preview of the contents on the front, and another lovely diorama inside.   Now for today's set.     It's a burglar, carrying his weapon of choice: a snowball. Nothing special here, he's very similar to the other burgl

Computer Cleanup

Welp, ONCE AGAIN, I am out of space on my hard drives, and cleaning everything up,   I just all the files in my Downloads holder for the first time.   ALL THE FILES.     I really need a new computer. Preferably one that doesn't have 8 years of junk on it.

Break The Spell

Just completed this album. It's definitely Daughtry's best album yet.   I was a bit disappointed that most of the album wasn't like the opening song, Renegade, which was totally awesome. Even so, there's a number of great hard rock and soft rock songs in the album.   I got the deluxe edition. Normally I don't like bonus tracks, as they tend to detract from the end of the album, but I feel this album is even better with the bonus tracks. The four added songs are great, and Lullaby makes a

I Survived The Zombie Apocalypse

So Grant-Sud just gifted me Terraria because he's AWESOME and Steam has AWESOME sales going on right now and STUFF.   I begin playing, and neglect Grant's warnings to build a house before sundown, then this is what goes down:     Now to build a house... ._.
