  1. Thanks for the review. I'm considering one of this new wave for scrap pieces, so I am looking forward to the opinions on the rest of the wave.

As to the "put it on your back" function, the Toa Nuva (2003 for the new people) put their tools on their backs in the bohrok-kal animations. I think that Tahu and Kopaka did in the MNOLG also. So did the McToran and... I've made my point.

  2. Like the MoL stuff. Best part of the whole thing, in my opinion. The masks are very nice too, though. I like the Miru especially. It really captures the look of the set mask (which I own)

Nice work. If I use any of it, I'll send you the new poses I create.

  3.

For me, the Toa don't attack each other. They only fight me.

Ah, yes, that part works. They will only attempt to kill enemies. However, they can still hurt each other, so if you (for example) run away from Tahu and Onua gets in between, then Onua might very well get blown up by a fireball that Tahu aimed for you. :)

How canonical. Toa Mata fighting each other when they aren't supposed to.

  4. Ancient Effigy (My drop) - Not sold

    Boots of Subjugation (AirSickCandy's and Graedy's drop when I wasn't there -.-) - About 800k

Ward of Subjugation (My drop/Split between AirSickCandy and me) - About 2m, 800k split

    Zamorakian Spear (AirSickCandy's and Graedy's drop when I wasn't there again) - About 3m, 1.5m split

Garb of Subjugation (AirSickCandy's drop/Split between him and me) - About 12m, 6m split

    Impressive

    I think I've killed Zamorak's general... twice?

Yeah, I need to work on my 10m bank.

  5.

Just a random thought- could six Toa of different elements, firing on the same target, create a Protodermis Seal around it?

Unless I actually add some form of story mission where it would be appropriate to use, you won't see any kind of Toa Seal in the game. If we ignore the additional code work it would entail, I'd still be programming an effect that simply won't see any use. Six elements focused on one character will likely kill the character too fast to even bother with sealing them. Alternately, they get sealed in a powered-up version of Ice that never breaks, thus killing the character still. Unless they get unsealed by the same six elements, in which case we have a dilemma: Wait for that to happen (leaving one player immobilized and bored) or respawn them as if dead (thus making sealing/unsealing moot).Aaand if I add a timer to the seal, then it's just Ice again.EDIT:femtoa_walk_animated.gifSome sprite work has been done, at least.

Sprite does need work, but I'm not comfortable with trying to improve it; I have no expirience with Rayg.

A Toa Seal would be fun to use, but it would be no good in pvp (player vs player). A story mode would be epic, but I think we agreed to think on that later. However, it would be ideal for bossing, since bosses could require such tactics and timing. Be hard, but then bosses are meant to be hard. Imagine doing that on an airborne boss with gravity as one of the elements.

But it would be nice to see some bosses. Perhaps we could draw some from the story and some from our own imaginations...

    That could be scary

  6. I still think my reconstitute at random power idea could work. However, I think that kanoka, as much as I like them, ought to be a rather low priority. Perhaps we ought to discuss it as such? I mean, when Katuko is done with all the Toa/Rahkshi powers and kanohi, then we ought to discuss such things in earnest. But since it's being discussed, how about this?-metru disk type selected in "select weapon" interface-each disk deals damage (based on metru and distance traveled) and activates specific ability-power level determined by your stats (strength or mind, I think)-certain powers will have to be either eliminated or postponed. Like shrink for example. The spriting for that would be... well, I think you can imagine.Might also be nice to be able to select which disk you choose to load (like hit "1" key for regenerate at random disk) but that might be a bit overpowered. The Onu-Metru effect ought to be more like "when disk is destroyed, your 'quiver' gains one more kanoka" I think, because the above proposal is rather complex sounding.

  7. Are you going to do the Kanohi Zatth sometime? If you do, it should summon 3 or 4 Nui Rama to come and fight for you, even if it isn't the Karda Nui map. Just a suggestion.
Your resident canon (and cannon for that matter, but I digress) fan here. According to the story you cannot control the rahi you summon with that thing. You really can't even be sure of what you summon or whether it will try to kill and eat you. It's going to be a very complicated mask. Save it for later, like the Komau.
  8. Join a clan, that helped me get back into RS. The game is much less boring with friends always available to talk to.
That's what I was insinuating; this topic used to be a clan.*cough, cough*But yeah, that doesn't happen much anymore.- Taka
If we were a clan, why not recruit new members?Because with BIONICLE nigh dead, recruiting is quite difficult.
