The villagers had all gathered around the makeshift gallows, waiting to hear the results of the vote. A murmur arose from the crowd as the still-in-training Detective Baltarc took the stand. “Hear me, fellow Matoran!” he announced in a loud voice. “Today...I have brought before you...those who were responsible for Portal's attempted murder. Guards, bring the would be murderers forward!” Valendale and SV were lead up to the gallows by Eljay and iBrow, the latter of whom was extracting much enjoyment from SV's impending doom. “Any last words?” Baltarc asked both the convicted suspects. A brief silence followed, before Valendale decided he had plenty of last words. “Wait!” Valendale called out. “It wasn't me!”“Yeah,” SV agreed. “It wasn't him.”“Save your complaints for whoever the gatekeeper to the Red Star is,” Baltarc replied. “You have been found guilty of the attempted murder of Portal and of conspiring with the Dark Hunters. Any last words?”“I don't even LIKE Fallout!” Valendale protested. “Video games, sure, but Fallout? Who even-” The Ko-Matoran's arguments were cut off by the pulling of a lever, sending him to his doom. Valendale, Ko-Matoran, Lynched ...the village again sighed in disappointment as another innocent had died. Tyler kicked a tin can over and stormed out of the crowd. “I TOLD you Valendale was innocent,” SV said smugly. “...I really don't want to hear it,” Baltarc responded. “You're dying. Do you have any last words or not?”“...”“Very well, then. Death shall come...none too soon for you.” Baltarc pulled the lever as SV let out one final scream. “THE SHADOWY ONE WILL DESTROY YOU ALLLLLLLL.....” SV, Dark Hunter, Lynched “...we got one! We got one!” Mesonak jumped up and down excitedly. “Praise the sun!” The villagers cheered. It had taken a few tries, but they had finally struck back. ====== The village, once again, moved through the tricks and traps of the Earth floor with little trouble. They reached the fourth floor by nightfall. A quick scouting ahead revealed that this new floor was based around the element of ice. TOWER MAP UPDATED! I voted Valendale because it's possible that the Master of Illusion could place two Hunters on a list to trick us. I have a feeling the Master of Illusion is a little too smart for that. The Mafia went the route that I would have; by sending ShadowVezon (whom, after Tyler's announcement, was suspected by many players) they have allowed themselves another round to keep the identities of the hunters who have not been sent yet entirely secret. is this the end?
